How licensing works
One license per screen
Licensing is per device, keyed to each player's real hardware MAC, so a license can't be copied to another unit.
Flexible terms
Pay monthly, annually, or every 2 years per device; the longer the term, the lower the per-month price. Mix and match across all your players.
Try before you buy
Every new device runs the complete software free for 14 days, no card required. Assign a license when you're ready.
Air-gapped friendly
Secure sites with no internet activate from a signed offline license file, with no phone-home needed.
Pricing questions
Do I need a license for every screen?+
Yes. Licensing is per device. Each BrightSign® player is one license, keyed to its hardware MAC.
Can I switch between plans?+
You can add or remove seats and upgrade to a longer term (monthly → annual → 2-year) anytime, and those changes are prorated automatically. Moving to a shorter term takes effect when your current term ends, since a longer prepaid term is a commitment for that term.
Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?+
Cancel from the portal anytime. It stops future renewals, and your licenses run until the end of the term you've paid for. Cancellation isn't a refund: started periods are non-refundable except where required by law (prepaid annual/2-year plans have a 14-day window before devices are deployed). See our Refund Policy.
Do you offer volume or reseller pricing?+
Yes. Automatic volume breaks at 10/50/100 devices, and wholesale pricing for reseller partners. Talk to us.
Are taxes included?+
