How does XiPlay handle a player that freezes at 3 a.m.?
The on-device watchdog detects a stalled player and recovers it automatically, with no night-shift call-out. The portal's health and last-seen view shows you it happened and confirms the player came back.
Can we show a live TV or camera feed inside a layout?
Yes. On BrightSign® models with HDMI-In, XiPlay renders the HDMI input as a region inside your Xibo® layout, so a live feed can sit next to scheduled departures content on the same screen.
Do video-wall screens stay in sync?
Yes. XiPlay uses BrightSign® sync groups for frame-accurate playback across a wall. Walls need players from the same model family on a wired network with matching firmware, resolution and frame rate; genlock-level sync is an XT-series capability.
