Retail digital signage, driven by your Xibo® CMS

Promotions, queue displays and shelf-edge screens that never go dark. Content keeps looping even when the store network doesn't.

XiPlay runs retail signage on BrightSign® solid-state players driven by your own Xibo® CMS: schedule promotions and dayparts centrally, roll them out to every store, and let each screen keep playing its cached campaign even when the store's connection drops.

Retail networks are hostile to signage: shared store bandwidth, overnight resets, seasonal re-merchandising. Solid-state players have no fans or spinning disks to fail behind a fixture, and per-device licensing keyed to each player's MAC means an estate audit is a list of MACs, not a licensing puzzle.

Questions

Retail signage questions

What happens to store screens when the internet goes down?

They keep playing. XiPlay caches the scheduled content on the player, so an outage pauses content updates and the screen itself never goes black. When the connection returns, the player syncs with your Xibo® CMS and catches up.

Can I schedule different content for different stores?

Yes. Scheduling lives in your Xibo® CMS: display groups, dayparting and priority scheduling all work as normal. XiPlay players register as displays over XMDS, so per-store and per-region targeting is standard Xibo® workflow.

How is a large store estate licensed?

Per device. Each BrightSign® player carries one license keyed to its hardware MAC, with volume discounts from 10 devices. Licenses are assigned and moved in the XiPlay portal, so a store refit is a portal action, not a procurement cycle.
